Coop OBS increases machine and staff capacity
Fokserød, NORWAY: When changing the entire reverse vending solution to two T-820 Touch front-end machines and TOMRA’s latest backroom solution MultiPac, Coop OBS! in Fokserød got more consumers to return their containers at their store and saved significant time for staff.

With this new system, the capacity is almost doubled, the up-time is much higher and my personnel can spend almost 70% of their time on other important tasks.
"The reverse vending solution plays a vital role in modern retail operations," says Store Manager Runar Skaalen from Coop Obs! in Fokserød. "If you offer a poor solution, the experience is that customers choose other stores and you lose turnover.
Magnus Guldbrandsen, responsible for the reverse vending operations in the store, adds: "Before, it was quite chaotic in the weekends and during campaign periods. It’s much simpler now: easy to operate, easy to clean. The customers are happy and so am I."
